Happy 9th birthday to the BEST companion in the world, Gabriel.

4 years, 11 months, and 26 days ago you leaped across Fat Cat Rescue’s giant backyard to me. I didn’t see you, other than when you rubbed up against my legs. You weren’t even one of the cats we were there to look at. You followed me around the entire time I was looking for my mother‘s lost cat. You scared away the other cats that came up to me, and never stopped following me.

Two days later, you came home, and it has been the most amazing 4 years, 11 months, and 28 days ever.

I don’t even care that you’ll never see this because you’re a cat. Thank you for being in my life 😭
